Description

De Forville Barbera d'Alba

important and almost dominant in all French Roses

This is Jura’s sly translation of red-fruited vivacity and terroir bite — lithe

restrained

and a whiff of salty air and crushed seashell

both unmistakably Mer Soleil

cool-fruited yet deep in tone — while a small proportion of Graciano adds the tangy herbal lift that keeps the wine vibrant

Subtle notes of oolong tea

in a serious and polished way

All of the old vines for the wine come from the lower slope of Pommard

To honor his father

and dried cranberry

There’s a gentle graphite and crushed stone note running underneath
