Description

Victorian Mourning Print | Currier & IvesThese increasingly scarce Victorian mourning prints manufactured by Currier & Ives (as well as their competitors like Kellogg) always feature the weeping willow symbol, weeping figures, and a blank tombstone where a loved ones vital details could be recorded. This one is in its original frame and dated 1860. Some craquelure to the wood, wear at the back, and age tanning.

Second edition published in 1926
