Medieval Revival Antique Velvet Tack TrunkThe most adorable Victorian dome top trunk made of wood and covered in threadbare velvet and tacks. It looks like one of the treasures at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. I always love anything with a heart motif. The box measures about 11 x 9 x 8 and is in good condition overall with wear to the velvet, including the lining inside, some of which has been replaced with felt.

but the hinge was repaired with black tape

The star finder is made of heavy cardboard mounted onto pressed wood & comes in its original box with instructions

Unclear if this is a nod to her insincerity or simply an oversight

though there is sun damage to and writing from the original owners on the mat
