They really did pull out all the stops to make wood skis light - air cores

One of the pole tips has a chip missing out of it which makes the screw-in tip a little loose - this has been cleverly addressed by a dressing of copper wire

and helps organize the annual 54km Birkebeinerrennet

but not at the expense of the beautiful original logos
