Winemaker Tasting Notes

From its modest inaugural vintage of 800 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon and 800 cases of Merlot in 1978

layer by layer to form a rich full-bodied wine with chalky

neutral barrel—if any—oak

Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc

Unfined and unfiltered

3% Cabernet Franc

with intertwined darker fruits notes of cassis

Subtle tones of clove and toasted oak on the palate open up to more prominent notes of dark fruit

Bourboulenc

When you take your first sip there is an explosion of acidity that brings the palate to life
