Kikuboshi・菊星・Western Style Vintage Japanese Razor - asymmetrical grindbeautiful western style Japanese razor by Kikuboshi which means Chrysanthemum Star in Japanese., When you see the logo you surely will understand. Produced in the 1960s 70s The blade was resharpened and stropped by us to cut like the day it as produced. The razor is in very good shape. We do not high gloss polish the blades during restoration as this will destroy the vintage look of this old masterpiece entirely. Some spots remain where we removed
Each Kamisori comes with a bare handle - showing the blackened surface from the quenching process — a natural grip and a mark of fire
but we have compared it to other Tamahagane razors and the set of Kanjis and arrangement of words is exactly the same
