Amethyst and purple enamel earrings, recycled fine silver earringsPretty deep purple amethyst in a curvy teardrop shape hangs from fine silver open arabesque links that I have enameled in shades of purple. The transparent enamel really accentuates the swirly texture I gave the silver. The gems are wrapped in Argentium sterling silver wire, and finished with sterling silver lever back ear wires. Handmade from eco friendly fine silver

It has an Art Nouveau feel

I gave the piece an antique patina

then buffed it up to a shine

Identical in make up to their earth grown counterparts

they are just grown in a lab

The pendant measures 55 mm long or 2 1/4 inches long

I have given this design a victorian style frame to compliment it's floral motif

The gemstones are on handmade headpins some with balled up beads and some with my signature spirals

The leaf is created by painting several layers of silver paste on the back side of leaves

This is the 5th in my gingko leaf butterfly series of pendants
