Description

Rouge - Maz CazAbout 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvdre, 10% Syrah. The 2021 vintage was not ideal. Frost happened, as it does. Its not the end of the world though. Its actually not frost we worry about, its whether or not the buds have arrived prior to the inevitable frosty temperatures that happen in April. We lost quite a bit of primary buds, but the regrowth arrived, albeit late and making everything to follow a little late, but the vintage eventually got its act

From the brewer: "Agrarian-style lager of Franconian origin brewed with spelt—and for the first time in North America

Native yeast fermentation and large neutral french oak aging makes this a distinctly elegant Pinot Noir

Abundant red fruits & bramble-berries framed with graphite

On the exhale is where I note the barrels contribution most

The wine is aged in specially selected caratelli barrels for over 7 years

The new oak flavors integrate beautifully with mocha and baking spices and blend seamlessly with the dark fruits

30% Loureiro from Vinho Verde

1% - 60% Pear & 40% Apple - Low Acidity & A Touch of Sweetness

It’s an elevated Vermont BBQ experience you won’t want to miss

Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present

Made in honor of traditional Ripasso or Amarone from the Veneto

Hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks and wooden vats
