Rockspective
Description
RockspectiveThere is much more to Alvin Lee than the speed and the flash of a guitar solo. From the first inspiration from a live performance he attended of Big Bill Bronzy in his native Nottingham, England that moved a teen aged clarinetist to switch to guitar, through his role with "Ten Years After" and his successful solo career, "Alvin Lee Rockspective" examines Alvin's career in a unique, "Performance Interview" (with Alvin playing solo electric guitar)

As a scholar he has worked extensively on French organ music of the 19th and early 20th centuries
little more than a preparatory stage for it's printed counterparts
With them comes the opportunity to zero in not just on the intellect of their lyrics and the complexity of their (often competing) emotions
In a place where tango was constantly floating in the air
this 2CD set and it's accompanying booklet tell a fascinating story of a city's musical history and examine how it came to be
