No data existed for pultruded Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), but there was some concern regarding a reduction of properties. Three pultruders who supply the Cooling Tower Industry with structural shapes submitted samples for a water immersion analysis that has been underway with periodic testing
The demand for high-quality water
Dosage optimization requires sounds mathematical models for inhibitor dosages
In those cases where the cooling tower section and impeller is too big for testing it’s suggested to test a scaled down replica or do in situ testing
