Class 37 - BR Green - 37403 - DCC Sound Fitted (C)With an overhaul and repaint sponsored by the newly formed Trainload Freight West, later known as Transrail, Motherwells 37403 was catapulted to celebrity status in February 1994 after being backdated to its original British Railways green livery. The makeover was undertaken to mark the centenary of the completion of the West Highland line between Glasgow Queen St and Fort William, the operator being responsible for providing Class 37s for freight,

7819 – ‘Hinton Manor '

Another product of the North British Locomotive Company was 7754

it never carried the Cooling Towers depot plaque

The model replicates the period after 1949 and carries the extended bunker

although 50007 initially only wore its Hercules ’plates on one side

as they became time-expired

The lack of electric train supply on the new motive power required the addition of a generator coach to each Enterprise formation

before joining A1A Locomotive Ltd’s fleet in 2002

enabling direct connection

It was involved in a major collision in 1980 that saw it gain plated nose doors at both ends

it was reprieved and followed its ‘skinhead’ partner back into service
